PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus by which the state of an object can be easily judged in a non-contact state.

CONSTITUTION: The apparatus consists of a turn table 2 for placing an object 3 thereon, a rotary shaft 7 for supporting the table 2 freely rotatably, a motor for rotating the shaft 7, a power supply for driving the motor 1, a vibration detector 4 for detecting the vibration generating by the object and table 2, and a judement part 5 which judges the state of the object based on the vibration change signal from the detector 4. In such a structure, the vibration pattern after the rotation of the table 2 is stopped is recognized, so that whether the object is liquid or solid can be easily judged.
