To provide an apparatus for lifting the front hood of a vehicle, in which apparatus a push-up element lifted by a lifting element in a hood lock area is adapted to be moved in reverse, manually or by a motor, using a simple means without auxiliary tool separately provided in the vehicle.
The apparatus includes a reverse moving means having a reversing claw (9), which is rotatably fitted to drive elements (12, 19) that can be driven manually or by a motor, and are housed in a housing (1), in a state where the reversing nail is guided linearly, together with the drive elements in parallel with the push-up element (2). The reversing claw has a control outline which allows the reversing claw to automatically connect to and disconnect from a returning element, disposed at the side of the push-up element in accordance with the lifted position of the push-up element.
