To provide an apparatus for washing/solid-liquid separation of a granular material such as a filter medium and sand, by one unit.
This apparatus is provided with: a solid-liquid separation part 11 in which a spiral flow passage 11a is formed from an inflow port 11e connected to the terminal end of a transfer line 6 to a spiral terminal end 11f, the ceiling of the spiral flow passage is covered, a floor part 11c is formed at the bottom of the spiral flow passage and separation holes 11d are formed on the floor part; an overflow part 13 which is communicated with the terminal end of the spiral flow passage, extended upward vertically and used for making a liquid overflow at the position higher than the ceiling of the spiral flow passage; a storage tank 14 which is arranged under the solid-liquid separation part while using the solid-liquid separation part as its cover and communicated with the spiral flow passage through the separation holes; a discharge part 15a for discharging the granular material settled/accumulated in the storage tank; and a flow obstructing part 12 arranged in at least a part of the spiral flow passage for obstructing the flow of the liquid and the granular material to generate a turbulent flow so that the exfoliation of the granular material stuck to the surface of the spiral flow passage is promoted.
