Abstract:
To efficiently lower the water-soluble sugar contained in a plant- derived material turned into fibers or fragments.
A warn water treatment apparatus for treating a plant-derived material treated by a sugar decomposition apparatus with warm water is so constituted as to transport the plant-derived material thrown to a hopper 11 to a prescribed by a belt conveyer 12, randomly throw the plant-derived material transported to the prescribed position to warm water treatment tanks 15, 16, 17 by scrapers 13, 14 or the belt conveyer 12, and then carry out elution treatment of water-soluble sugar still remaining in the plant-derived material.
