To easily obtain palatable carbon dioxide added water even in a home by providing a water pressure responding type gas supply valve opening a carbon dioxide passage to supply carbon dioxide to a carbon dioxide adding mechanism and providing a carbon dioxide cylinder of which the gas amt. is equal to or less than that necessary for setting the total flow rate of purified water to predetermined gas concn.
Raw water such as tap water is supplied to a water purifier to obtain purified water from which chlorine is removed and this purified water is passed through the water passage part within a water pressure responding type gas supply valve 12 opening its carbon dioxide passage by the passing pressure of purified water and controlled to a constant flow rate by a water flow rate control part 13 and, thereafter, carbon dioxide is added to the purified water in a carbon dioxide adding part 14. Carbon dioxide is reduced in its pressure by the pressure reducing valve 16 attached to the carbon dioxide cylinder 15 and guided into a gas supply valve 12 through a carbon dioxide indicator 17 and a carbon dioxide flow rate control part 18 to be added to purified water. Carbon dioxide added water formed in the carbon dioxide adding part 14 is passed through a mineral component packed cartridge 19 to be emitted as mineral dissolved carbonated water.
