To provide a battery electrode manufacturing apparatus by which coated regions and non-coated regions are formed precisely on a substrate sheet and production efficiency is improved.

This producing apparatus comprises an electrode mixed coating liquid supplying part 17 in which an electrode mixed coating liquid 12 can be stored and discharging outlet 18 to discharge the electrode mixed coating liquid 12 is formed, a transfer roll 19 to the outer circumference of which the electrode mixed coating liquid 12 discharged out of the discharging outlet 18 is applied, a back-up roll 16 on which a substrate sheet 13 is rolled to bring the substrate sheet 13 into contact with the transfer roll 19 to form a coated region 22, and a non-coated region forming part 30 which is formed in the circumferential face of the transfer roll 19, projected out of the circumferential face of the transfer roll 19 at the time of being on the opposite to the discharging outlet 18 to close the discharging outlet 18, and set back from the circumferential face of the transfer roll 19 at the time, when it is brought into contact with the back up roll 16 through the substrate sheet 13.
