To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a high-performance and low-cost lead oxide film by establishing a novel technique for repetitively using an electrodeposition bath in an electrodeposition apparatus for the lead oxide film and a method of manufacturing for the same.
The method of manufacturing the lead oxide film having a process step of transporting the long-sized conductive substrate above at least one electrodes consisting of zinc in the electrodeposition bath held in the electrodeposition vessel and forming the lead oxide film on the conductive long-sized substrate by impressing an electric field between the electrodes and the conductive substrate has at least a first process step of forming the lead oxide film to mid-way of the conductive substrate, a second process step of impressing the electric fields and stopping the transportation and a third process step of making at least part of the region among the portions in contact with the electrodeposition bath in the second process step of the conductive substrate contactless with the electrodeposition bath and the apparatus which is adequately used for this method.
