This manufacturing apparatus is provided with a semi-solidified metal manufacturing means 22 provided with a molten metal holding furnace 14 for holding the molten metal 12 and a heat insulating crucible 18 for storing the molten metal 12 to obtain the semi-solidified metal 20 by stirring the molten metal 12 in a prescribed slurry state, a molding machine 26 having an injection sleeve 24 for charging the semi-solidified metal 20 to mold the semi-solidified metal 20 into a prescribed shape, and an articulated robot 28 which can carry the crucible 18 to the molten metal holding furnace 4, the semi-solidified metal manufacturing means 22 and the forming machine 26. The articulated robot 28 is provided with a clamping mechanism 66 for holding the crucible 18 with a cantilever hand structure by clamping the engagement part 54 of the crucible 18.
