To make a distributing apparatus (11) having a linear transporting section (12) sequentially deliver N bundles of notebooks each made by stacking notebook sheets to N bundle positions.
The distribution apparatus comprises an adjustable base board (13) and a transporting section (12) fixed below the base board and forming N housing boxes located below the bundling positions and functioning as vertical partition plates. As soon as all the N bundle positions in the transporting partition (12) are occupied by bundles, the base board (13) is rotated downward, and all the N bundles are allowed to fall simultaneously between the partitioning plates in the N housing boxes. After the base board is closed, the next N bundles are advanced to the bundling positions on the transporting section (12). After the base board is opened, the bundles are allowed to fall into the housing boxes as the second layer. As soon as packs each comprising a predetermined number of the bundles of the notebooks put on the top one by one are filled in these housing boxes, these packs are extruded out of the housing boxes to a transportation section (17) by a slide (16), and the next housing boxes are prepared for the following processing purpose.
