PURPOSE: To provide an improved apparatus for manufacturing printed matters such as printed matters for advertisement which consist of sheets folded once and are sealed by adhesive coated on edges of a paper sheet extending on the folded line.

CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is provided with an adhesive coating unit 8 for coating an adhesive layer in parallel to the feeding direction 7 of the first feeding unit 6 and a drying zone 12 for cooling, drying or producing an inactive state. This is connected with the second feeding unit 14, which extends perpendicular to the first feeding unit 6. this feeding unit 14 is provided with a paper sheet folding unit 20 for making a folded line extending perpendicular to the feeding direction 15 of the second feeding unit 14 about simultaneously, and an activating unit 22 for activating the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer is joined with another part of the paper sheet after folding and adhered to the above-mentioned part by becoming an activated state.
