Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of electric power by the titled apparatus and to improve the corrosion resistance of the anode by immersing the anode made of titanium having deposited ruthenium oxide and a matrix as the cathode in a nickel sulfamate electroforming bath. CONSTITUTION:The anode 2 made of titanium having deposited ruthenium oxide and a master disc for forming digital audiodiscs as the cathode are immersed in a nickel sulfamate electroforming bath 1. Electric current is supplied to the anode 2 and the cathode 3 from a power source 4 to carry out nickel plating by electroforming. A stamper contg. no sulfur segregated on the grain boundaries can be manufactured, and since sulfamate ions are not decomposed during plating, the bath voltage can be dropped.
