Abstract:

PURPOSE:To automate the positioning/detecting work of a printing plate and to enhance the manufacturing efficiency thereof by providing a printing plate feed device, a detection head and a control unit. CONSTITUTION:The printing plate 13 introduced into a printing plate feed device 14 is automatically set at the specific position of the device 14 by a printing plate setting pusher driven while controlled by a control unit 17. Continuously, the pattern area ratio of the printing plate is measured by the detecting operation of the detection head 16 beginning to operate by the unit 17. That is, the positioning/detecting work of the printing plate 13 in a pattern area ratio measuring apparatus is automated and the manufacturing efficiency thereof can be enhanced.
