Abstract:
To provide a displacement measuring apparatus and a load measuring apparatus of a relatively simple constitution capable of measuring displacements or loads in two different directions.
A pair of sensors 24a and 24b held at a sensor unit 22 supported at an outer race 3 are opposed to a surface to be detected of an encoder 12e fitted over and fixed to a hub 4. Displacements or loads in axial directions between the outer race 3 and the hub 4 are determined on the basis of the phase difference between detection signals of both sensors 24a and 24b. Displacements or loads in radial directions between the outer race 3 and the hub 4 is determined on the basis of the amplitude of detection signals of both sensors 24a and 24b.
