To provide an apparatus for measuring gel time of a chemical injecting material wherein gel time can be simply measured, correct measurement results can be obtained without errors whoever has measured, and a single measure can measure.

The apparatus for measuring gel time 1 comprises a stirring container 10 with an upper face exhibiting an opened cylindrical outline for putting a main material and hardening agent without contact with each other and a body 20 to which the stirring container 10 is attached. The body 20 includes a stirring blade 30 which can rotate in the stirring container 10 and a partition 40 removably attached to the stirring blade 30 for dividing the stirring container 10. An electric motor (rotating means) for rotating the stirring blade 30 is housed in the body 20. The electric motor whose rotation speed decreases by a load may be used, while a feedback circuit or the like for maintaining the rotation speed constant is not built in. The electric motor is controlled by a gelling sensing means and a rotation stop means.
