Abstract:
PURPOSE:To measure height data accurately by using a means for automatically switching the gain of an amplifier which amplifies the output of a light-position detecting sensor in response to an input level. CONSTITUTION:Laser light 106 emitted from a laser light source 105 is vertically projected on a printed board 101 through a reflecting mirror 108, a polygon mirror 107 and an f-theta lens 109. Then, the image of a part of the laser light which has scanned the board 101 and a part 102 on the board 101 is formed on a light-position detecting sensor 112 through a light cutting mirror 110, the mirror 107 and a condenser lens 111. Then an output position signal 113 from the sensor 112 is inputted into an amplifier 116 whose range can be switched. The signal is amplified to a level suitable for height operation and outputted. In a height operating part 114, the amplified signal undergoes A/D conversion, and the height data are computed by digital processing. In judging and operating part 115, reference height data which are imparted beforehand and the height data measured in the operating part 114 are compared, and the quality of the mounting state of the part 102 is judged.
