To provide a low-cost material having superior properties in corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, which is used as a diaphragm of a differential pressure transmitter for a liquid-level meter in a reaction vessel and a post-treatment vessel for treating an organic halogenated compound.
An apparatus for measuring pressure is provided, which is characterized by using Hastelloy C for the diaphragm 13 contacting with a liquid inside the reaction vessel of a system for making the organic halogenated compound dehalogenated by using an alkali metal. Similarly, the apparatus is characterized by using Hastelloy for the diaphragm contacting with a liquid inside a treating vessel after being set on the downstream side of the reaction vessel in order to convert a surplus alkali metal into a hydroxide.
