Abstract:
To quickly and precisely measure sugar concentration, while reducing costs.
A conductor 7 is toroidally wound around an optical fiber 5 that is wound in a ring for composing a Faraday rotor 6, a modulation signal generated by a signal generator 13 is applied to the conductor 7, a polarization surface is polarized by the Faraday rotor 6, and the rotation power of a sample 9 is measured, thus calculating sugar concentration contained in the sample 9.
