To provide a carrying technology and a heating technology for a metal sheet, which are sufficiently applicable for a hot press forming technology for molding a heated metal sheet with a metal die, more specifically, to provide a carrying technology for the metal sheet capable of stably and easily carrying the heated metal sheet and to provide a heating technology suited for the carrying technology.

An apparatus for carrying the metal sheet is equipped with a metal sheet supporting member 3 for supporting a heated metal sheet from under the lower side of the sheet, wherein the part of a metal sheet supporting member 3 that is brought into contact with a metal sheet 1 has a convex curved surface, which is convex upward or downward with respect to the metal sheet 1, or has a wavelike curved surface, which is convex upward and downward. Further, there is disclosed a carrying method using this supporting member and a method for hot-press-molding the metal sheet which is carried by this carrying method.
