The accessary to be connected to the surgical table has connecting parts (12, 16), and the component of the surgical table has an accepting part (14) to accept at least one of the connecting parts (12, 16), engaging parts (22 and 24) projecting from the connecting parts (12, 16) and guide channels (18, 20) provided on the accepting part (14) and engaging with the engaging parts (22, 24) while at least part of the connecting part (12) is inserted in the accepting part (14), and an elastic deforming member (52) to give force to the engaging parts (22, 24) when it is elastically deformed. Force (FA) in a direction of insertion (P2) works on the connecting parts (12, 16) when the accessary (12) is connected to the surgical table (14) by the force given to the engaging parts (22, 24) and tracks of the guide channels (18 and 20).
