To provide a taking-in port door control system for an auxiliary power unit.
The auxiliary power unit (APU) (100) is provided with a control device for controlling a position of an APU taking-in port door (138) at starting action of the APU so as to ensure that the optimum starting condition is attained and maintained at the APU (100), and accordingly controlling a ram air flow to the APU (100). The control device receives a signal indicating an APU action parameter (152) and feeds APU taking-in port door (138) position instruction in response to it. An APU taking-in port door actuator (142) is bonded to the APU taking-in port door (138) and moves the APU taking-in port door (138) to the instructed position in response to the APU taking-in port door (138) position instruction.
