Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating table waveform control apparatus and method capable of making a desired wave coincide with a reproduced wave through one excitation and being applicable to a vibration test in which the characteristic of a vibrating table varies during excitation, as in a single-shot breaking test.
SOLUTION: The apparatus has an off-line compensating wave generator 3 which generates an off-line compensating wave 30 on the basis of the inverse characteristic of a vibrating table 2 determined prior to excitation and of the desired wave 11, and an on-line compensating wave generator 7 which generates an on-line compensating wave 70 on the basis of the inverse characteristic 40 of the vibrating table under excitation which is determined based on data about an exciting wave 90 and the reproduced wave 20 during excitation, and of the desired wave 11. During excitation, the exciting wave 90 is changed from the off-line compensating wave 30 to mixed compensating waves 80 derived from the on-line compensating wave 70.
