Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for correcting cut surfaces with a burr of punched or fine-blanked parts such as a pendulum weight, a disc or a synchronizer ring.SOLUTION: An apparatus for correcting a cut surface with burrs 5, 5.1 of a workpiece has a correcting punch 21, and the correcting punch comprises: a correcting region for smoothing a cut surface of the outer contour or the inner contour of the workpiece into a final shape; and a stamping shoulder 36 for stamping burrs of the outer contour or the inner contour. The correcting punch 21 is configured in such a way that: the correcting region initially bends burrs of the outer contour or the inner contour away from the cut surface and then seizes the cut surface for widening; the stamping shoulder 36 of the correcting punch stamps burrs of the outer contour or the inner contour when the widening of the workpiece finishes and smooths a stamping bead 47 produced upon stamping when the correcting punch separates from the workpiece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9e
