A CO2 gas decomposition apparatus configured to pass CO2 gas contained in a raw material gas through a molten salt which is energized to decompose CO2 gas in the molten salt into solid carbon and O2 gas includes: an electrolytic bath 21 which stores the molten salt; a pair of electrodes 22 for energizing the molten salt, which is composed of an anode electrode and a cathode electrode; a raw material gas inlet tube 23 for introducing the raw material gas into the molten salt, the raw material gas inlet tube 23 having a plurality of blowing holes 23a for generating bubbles of the raw material gas on the surface of the raw material gas inlet tube. The pair of electrodes 22 is disposed above the bubble generation area.
