PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for drying coal for coke that improves coal drying efficiency and improves classification efficiency of fine powder generated in a coal drying step.SOLUTION: An apparatus for drying coal for coke comprises fluidized bed dryers 10, 11 which jet hot air to coal to form a fluidized bed and dry the coal, a coal supply part 20 that charges the coal, hot air supply parts 30, 31 that supply the hot air, and a cyclone 50 and a back filter 52 that collect powdered coal. Two or more dryers 10, 11 are provided and sequentially connected, and the coal successively passes through the dryers 10, 11 to be dried. The fluidized bed dryers 10, 11 comprises a first dryer 10 that fluidizes, dries, and classifies the coal, and a second dryer 11 that is connected to the first dryer 10 and fluidizes, dries, and classifies the coal passing through the first dryer 10. The hot air supply parts 30, 31 are respectively and separately provided to the dryers 10, 11 to respectively supply the hot air to the dryers 10, 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
