Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the temperature distribution of a rolled stock introduced into a rolling device by a simple and compact constitution by moving the positions of electrodes for supplying power to the rolled stock in accordance with the temperature distribution of the rolled stock.
SOLUTION: This apparatus has; a 1st electrode arranged movably in the conveying direction of the rolled stock 21; a 2nd electrode arranged movably in the conveying direction; a temperature sensor 13 arranged on the upstream side in the conveying directions of the 1st and the 2nd electrodes; and a controller 14 for electrically heating the rolled stock 21 by moving the 1st and the 2nd electrodes in the conveying direction on the basis of the output of the temperature sensor 13 when the boundary between the high temperature part and the low temperature part of the rolled stock 21 approaches the 1st electrode or the 2nd electrode.
