Abstract:
To manufacture an embossed metal sheet such as a kitchen counter made of stainless steel the surface of which is hardly scratched, is hardly conspicuous even when it is scratched, dirt on which is easily removed and which has high durability to wear.
The metal sheet (10) is inserted between a pair of rotating rolls (1, 2) and embossing is performed by applying compressive force to the metal sheet. One roll (1) of the pair of rolls has a rugged surface part which is formed from metal and the other roll (2) of the pair of rolls has a flat surface part which is formed from rubber.
