PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately control a filling amount without leaving a viscous material in a filling apparatus by constituting a spool which reciprocates in a nozzle body for opening/closing an inflow path, comprising a mechanism for blowing out a gas toward a filling side.
SOLUTION: A spool 102 retreats to a position where it is about to close an inflow portion 34, and compressed air is blown out from an air path 106 as indicated by an outline B for blowing a viscous material in a nozzle 10 into a filling container C. It is important that the compressed air should be blown out after the spool 102 has retreated from a tip of the nozzle 10 to a position where it is about to close the inflow portion 34. Thus the viscous material which is to expand out of the outline B to be blown comes against an internal wall of the nozzle 10 such that it is prevented from being blown out of the outline B, that is, out of the container. Thus the viscous material can be reliably filled into the container.
