Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for flue gas desulfurization which improves the dedusting performance of an electric precipitator(EP), does not affect succeeding apparatuses in terms of corrosion and others even when soot and dust concentration at the outlet of EP is increased, and decreases the quantity of soot and dust to the value of environmental standards and also provide a method therefor.
SOLUTION: A wet exhaust gas desulfurizer 6 for removing SOx is installed downstream from EP 3 for removing soot and dust contained in exhaust gas from a boiler and others, a heat-recovering heat exchanger 8 to be a non-leakage type heat exchanger corresponding to a re-heating heat exchanger 9 is installed upstream from the desulfurizer 6 at least between an air pre-heater(AH) 2 and EP 3, a detection meter 21 for exhaust gas temperature is fitted downstream from the heat exchanger 8, and a controller 23 for controlling the heat exchange quantity of the heat exchanger 8 is installed. The exhaust gas whose temperature is controlled by the controller 23 in order that the temperature of exhaust gas at the outlet of the heat exchanger 8 is at least the dew point in the SO3 concentration of the exhaust gas on the downstream side of EP 3 to control soot and dust at the outlet of a stack 7 to be a prescribed temperature or below.
