Abstract:
To reduce energy consumption in comparison with a conventional heat treating apparatus by providing a new apparatus and method for heat treatment of an object.
This heat treating apparatus for conducting heat treatment of an object during the object is transferred, comprises a heating means 4, a heat treating space 3' and a transfer mechanism 2 in which cylindrical or columnar objects arrayed with a given interval therebetween are transferred in a given direction, being rotated in a heat treating space. Substantially, the entire transfer mechanism is arranged in the heat treating space.
