To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a hollow shaft member with a flange, capable of reducing a production cost and guaranteeing the reliability of the strength at a joint of the flange.
The apparatus 1 for manufacturing the hollow shaft member with the flange includes: a rotational movement device 20 which supports the rotation of a shaft member 10, that is a workpiece, around an axial center O1 and moves the shaft member 10 in an axial direction; two rollers 50 which are supported to be freely rotatable at an equal interval in a circumferential direction of the shaft member 10, and pushes to a peripheral surface 10c of the shaft member 10; a punch 30 which is coaxially disposed with the shaft member 10 and is pushed into an axial center part 10a of the shaft member 10; and a rotating device 40 which supports the rotation of the punch 30 around the axial center O1. Each roller 50 has: a pressing part 50a tapered from a radially outward end 50d for a rotary shaft 52 to an advancing side of the shaft member 10; a roll-off 50b tapered from the radially outward end 50d to an exiting side of the shaft member 10; and a curved part 50c which is a curved surface at the radially outward end 50d.
