Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission belt manufacturing apparatus capable of reducing occurrence of running aground of a core wire during manufacturing of the transmission belt; and a transmission belt manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A transmission belt manufacturing apparatus 1 includes: a sheet holding part 4 to hold an endless sheet 2; and a core wire wrapping device 5 to wrap a core wire 3 around an outer peripheral surface of the sheet 2. The core wire wrapping device 5 includes: a delivery part 24 to deliver the core wire 3 toward an outer peripheral surface of the sheet holding part 4; and a displacement mechanism 20 to displace the delivery part 24 so that the delivery part 24 moves around the outer peripheral surface of the sheet holding part 4.
