Title:
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING QUANTITATIVE VALUE OF INFORMATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005305107
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a simply structured apparatus by which the quantitative value of information in a quantitative value information system can be objectively and quantatively measured.

A measuring apparatus 10 comprising a circular arc-shaped optical fiber 12, which is attached to a headband 11, and the two end sections of which point to touqiaoyin 20 on the head, and an antenna coil that points to the forehead section, is worn on the head of a measurer such that both the end portions 12a, 12b of the optical fiber 12 are directed to the touqiaoyin 20. An O-ring test is used to evaluate the quantitative value of information of the information flowing through the optical fiber 12 of the measuring apparatus 10 when the measurer is facing a target object for measurement. When the O-ring test gives a value of <0> at the center C of the optical fiber 12 in the lengthwise direction, the quantitative value of information of the target object for measurement can be quantitatively determined from the measured value of the quantitative value of information flowing through the optical fiber 12 at a position other than the center position C.
