The sealing/packaging apparatus includes a base sheet placement portion 2 where a roughly flat plate base sheet a for placing an object W to be packaged thereon is placed, a film roll arranging portion 4 for feeding a film for covering the object W on the sheet (a), film feed means 7 for pulling out the film from a film roll 12 arranged on the film roll arranging portion and for extensively holding the film above the portion 4, moving means for relatively moving the film feed means or the base sheet placement portion for the film to cover the object on the sheet, and sealing means for heat welding the edge of the film covering the object and the surface of the sheet where the object is placed.
