The apparatus for producing granular crystals is equipped with a crucible 1 having a nozzle section d at the bottom so that a melt of a crystal material is granularly discharged and dropped from the nozzle section d, wherein the nozzle section d has a nozzle hole e of which the outlet has a nearly circular (elliptical) cross-sectional shape having parts with variation in curvature or a polygonal cross-sectional shape having rounded angular parts.
