To provide a method for producing magnetic carbon, by which high quality magnetic carbon can be produced at a low cost by expanding a combustion-continuation range of livestock excrement and enhancing combustion speed and combustion efficiency under actions of an electric field/magnetic field when the magnetic carbon is produced by burning the livestock excrement in a combustion furnace; and to provide an apparatus for producing the magnetic carbon.
The apparatus 1 for producing the magnetic carbon by burning livestock excrement is equipped with: the combustion furnace 2; a cooling water tank 3 which constitutes the furnace wall of the combustion furnace 2 and at the same time, stores cooling water for cooling the combustion furnace 2; a cooling water supply passage 4 for supplying the cooling water to the cooling water tank 3; and a magnetic field generating means 6. The magnetic field generating means 6 is provided so that a magnetic field is generated in the cooling water supply passage 4 itself by arranging the cooling water supply passage 4 through the magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generating means 6.
