Abstract:

To provide a method for producing nanofibers, capable of uniformly accumulating the fibrous material on a collective member so as to be uniform in its accumulation level, and to provide an apparatus for producing the nanofibers.

The apparatus for producing nanofibers includes a raw material-ejecting mechanism functioning to electrically charge a raw material F and eject the thus electrically charged raw material F into the air so as to produce a fibrous material F1 by Coulomb force from the raw material F containing a polymeric material, a fibrous material-collective member 21 for accumulating the thus produced fibrous material F1 on its surface and collecting the fibrous material F1, and an electrifying means 23 containing brush-like electrodes 24 and functioning to electrify the fibrous material-collective member 21 in the polarity opposite to that of the raw material F.
