To provide an apparatus for producing ozone water which has simplified constitution and allows the production cost of ozone water to be reduced and can easily produce high-concentration ozone water and to provide a method for producing ozone water.
The apparatus 1 for producing ozone water is provided with: a purified water supplying means 3 for circulating purified water through a purified water pipeline 2; an ozone gas supplying means 5 for circulating ozone gas through an ozone gas pipeline 4; a mixing pump 6 for sucking the purified water and the ozone gas, mixing them and discharging ozone-mixed water; an ozone water storage tank 7 for housing the ozone-mixed water discharged from the mixing pump 6; a pressure control means 8 for keeping the pressure in the ozone water storage tank 7 constant; a circulation pipeline 9 in which the ozone water is discharged once from the ozone water storage tank 7, the discharged ozone water is mixed with the ozone-mixed water discharged from the mixing pump 6 and the mixed water is circulated to the ozone water storage tank 7; and a circulation pump 10 for sucking the circulating ozone water and the ozone-mixed water discharged from the mixing pump 6 and mixing them in the circulation pipeline 9.
