To provide a pulp production apparatus capable of producing the pulp from a raw material in a high concentration pulper, or the like and to provide the pulp production apparatus capable of producing the pulp using a palmae plant as the raw material at a temperature lower than a conventional one in atmospheric pressure.
The pulp production apparatus includes: a chemical feeder 20 supplying a nitric acid-containing chemical and a caustic soda-containing chemical into a tank body 10 in this order; a liquid temperature controlling device 30 controlling at multi-steps the temperature of the nitric acid-containing chemical and the caustic soda-containing chemical filled in the tank body 10; a vortex-flow generator 40 generating a vortex flow in the raw material- and the caustic soda-containing chemical supplied in the tank body; and a chemical discharge device 50 discharging either of the nitric acid-containing chemical or the caustic soda-containing chemical before charging the nitric acid-containing chemical and the caustic soda-containing chemical in the next step.
