Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the physical quantities of various grounds by enhancing the accuracy of the result of measurement and providing a survey method with many loading stages and many cycles, when irregularities exist on a ground installation surface, in the installation of a loading part on the ground.
SOLUTION: This apparatus is equipped with: proximity sensors 3031-3035 which indirectly detect the height of fall of a weight 5 to be dropped onto a loading surface installed on the ground G to be measured; and a PC 200 which measures the physical quantity associated with the ground G, in accordance with the displacement of the ground and a load generated when the weight 5 is dropped as final loading from the second height of fall, greater than the first height of fall, after the weight 5 is dropped as preloading from the first height of fall, before the weight 5 is dropped as the final loading onto the loading surface, on the basis of the result of detection by the proximity sensors 3031-3035.
