PURPOSE: To handle a paper pulp suspension of medium consistency with a conventional centrifugal pump for about 3-8% consistency by mounting a tubular element with vanes, and having an open end in a specific state and a means for rotating the tube in the direction opposite to the rotation of the pump impeller.

CONSTITUTION: The tube 32 as a tubular element 30 with vanes is attached to the bearing 41, the flange 42 and the bearing 44 by using the shaft 39 and the opening end 37 is positioned by the hub 18 and fine gaps. The tubular element 30 is driven by the motor 46 to rotate in the direction opposite to that of the impeller 17 and transfer the pulp toward the direction of the impeller 17.
