Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for recovering an evaporated helium gas capable of simply recovering a helium gas to be evaporated from the apparatus in various type system using a cryogenic liquid helium at a low cost.
SOLUTION: The apparatus for recovering the evaporated helium gas comprises a normal line 11 for distributing an evaporated gas in a normal state and connected to a liquid helium storage tank disposed in a magnetic shielding room 1, a cryogenic evaporated gas line 12 connected to the tank to recover the evaporated gas generated at a liquid helium filling time, a heat exchanger disposed in the cryogenic gas line to raise a temperature of the gas flowing through the cryogenic gas line, and a first valve 16 and a second valve 17 provided out of the room in a connecting line for connecting both the lines. In this case, the line for connecting the first valve to the second valve is connected to a gas recovering means or an atmospheric line 15. The cryogenic gas line at an upstream side of the exchanger is constituted of a low temperature resistant material. The normal line in the room is constituted of a nonmagnetic material.
