Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove a slender body from a biological tissue, by providing the stripper with a second part which is expandable outside and can apply multilateral pressures to the slender body at a position distant from at least a base part of a first part. CONSTITUTION: A looped base part of a stylet is compressed and a separating tube 212 is inserted in above an insulating material 201 of a heart lead and these. An end part of the separating tube 212 made of Teflon (R) obliques and consists of a cutting edge with teeth for separation from a fibrous tissue 209 covering the insulating material 201 of the heart lead. The separating tube 212 moves along the outside surface of the insulating material 201 of the heart lead and rotates, and, thereafter, hits a neighbourhood of a heart wall such that an imaging line 219 shows. Thereafter, the separating tube 212 rotates back and forth to take and separate the end part of the heart lead and a branch 207 from a fibrous tissue 218 and the top of the heart wall 213. As a result, the heart lead is separated completely from a blood vessel and the heart wall for next separation. Thereafter, the separating tube 212, the stylet 200 and the heart lead are removed from the heart wall and surrounding blood vessels.
