Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a cable sheathed thick with uniform thickness and sufficiently twisted by braking the cable only to the movement in the axial direction with a braking device in just front of an extruder.
CONSTITUTION: The braking device 10 for cable 2 is disposed in front of the extruder 15 and the cable 2 is braked only to the movement in the axial direction so as not to obstruct the rotary motion of the cable around the axis of the cable. At least one guide wheel 9 is arranged in front of the brake device so that the twist of the cable with a rotating device 19 finishes at any position of a cable storing device 4 in front of the brake device and the guide wheel 9.
