To efficiently recover a trace amount of lead, etc., from dust contained in a combustion gas of a cement-kiln at a low cost.
An apparatus 1 for treating cement-kiln dust is provided with a classifier 8 which classifies dust contained in the combustion gas discharged from the cement-kiln 2, and a flotation machine 16 which recovers objective materials to be recovered from fine powder classified by the classifier 8 by an ore flotation method. In the dust contained in the combustion gas discharged from the cement-kiln 2, the lead, etc., are unevenly distributed on the fine powder side classified by the classifier 8, by making only the fine powder an object to be treated by the flotation machine 16, since the amount of the object to be treated is reduced, and also, the amount of calcium to be removed is reduced, and the addition amount of a chemical such as sulfuric acid for removing the calcium content, can be drastically reduced and the treating cost can be suppressed low. The dust can be the dust from a chlorine-bypass facility or an alkali-bypass facility. In the classifier 8, a centrifugal type ultra-fine powder air current classifier can be used.
