To provide an apparatus for treating an organic solid matter-containing waste water wherein the organic solid matter-containing waste water is rapidly and surely made into a treated matter with less bad odor by an aerobic bio-treatment and the treating apparatus can be miniaturized and a method for treating it.
An apparatus for treating an organic solid matter-containing waste water is provided with the first aerobic digestion tank which has an aerobic microorganism treating part and a sedimentation separation part divided by a partition wall whose bottom end edge is opened and made to communicate only through the above described opening part, and the second aerobic digestion tank which has an aerobic microorganism treating part and a sedimentation separation part divided by a partition wall hose bottom end edge is opened and made to communicate only through the above described opening part, a conduit device which guides an organic solid matter-containing waste water into the aerobic microorganism treating part of the above described first aerobic digestion tank, a transfer device which transfers the partly treated water in the aerobic microorganism treating part of the first aerobic digestion tank to the second aerobic digestion tank and an overflow discharging devices which discharge respectively treated waters in the sedimentation separation parts of the first aerobic digestion tank and the second aerobic digestion tank.
