Abstract:

To provide an apparatus and a method for treatment wherein a composite material waste containing plastics is easily separated into plastics and metals by a comparatively less energy.

An apparatus for treatment of composite material waste is provided with a melting room 102 for maintaining the composite material waste 201 containing plastics at a softening, fusing on thermally-decomposing temperature or higher, and a roll group 110 comprising a plurality of rolls 110a contained in a lower part of the melting room 102 in a vertical direction, and each of the rolls 110a... is rotated in the same direction around an axis. since the melting room is provided, plastics are melted. Further, since the group of rolls 110 are provided, the molten plastics are separated from the other parts.
