Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems, methods and devices for compressing block acknowledgment (ACK) frames/packets.SOLUTION: A method of communicating in a wireless network includes generating a compressed block acknowledgment frame comprising a physical layer header. The physical layer header includes at least one of a block acknowledgment identifier, a starting sequence number of the compressed block acknowledgement frame, and a bitmap. The method further includes transmitting the compressed block acknowledgment frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
