To provide an apparatus for mixing the earth and sand gathered on-site, the clogging frequency of which is decreased so that the resistance when an agitator is rotated can be lowered and the deformation of the agitator can be prevented.
This apparatus is arranged aslant so that the upper end is made higher than the lower end and provided with: a charge part 1a which is arranged at the upper end and in which a mixed material containing the earth and sand gathered on-site is thrown; a discharge part 1b arranged at the lower end; a conveying passage 1 for dropping/conveying the mixed material from the charge part to the discharge part while mixing it; a plurality of agitators 2 arranged in the conveying passage along the dropping/conveying direction for scooping up/mixing the mixed material to the direction opposite to the dropping/conveying direction; and a curved plane 3a formed on the bottom surface 1c of the conveying passage along the rotational tracks of agitators for guiding the mixed material toward agitators. Each of agitators has a plurality of blades 5 which are arranged along the axial direction of a rotary shaft 4 at suitable intervals and extended radially from the rotary shaft to the outside in the radial direction. A gap α between the tip 5a of each of the blades 5 and the curved plane is set to be ≥1/2 of the maximum particle size of the earth and sand gathered on-site.
