Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device for fitting the component of an electric connector to the end section of a lead wire having at least one core. CONSTITUTION: This device periodically advances and conveys a machining station exposing an insulated conductor and fitting a contact member to an exposed end section. This device is constituted of a base 17 rotated around a rotary shaft A and having at least three injection molding dies 19 and at least one or more injection molding machines 18, 22 to fit a protector to the contact member by injection molding. The injection molding dies 19 having guide openings 20 are fixed separately in the peripheral direction at uniform intervals from the rotary shaft A of the base 17. The injection molding machines 18, 22 movable toward the base 17 are arranged nearby so that their discharge openings are set to the same level as that of the guide opening 20 of the injection molding dies 19.
