PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for sending/receiving parcels with which contents of a parcel can be recognized while the apparatus is not unlocked.

CONSTITUTION: A part of a surface of a parcel box 2 which is locked is formed of a liquid crystal shutter 18, and a holder for holding a card 19 with information of a parcel housed in the parcel box 2 indicated is provided on the box 2 oppositely to a back of the liquid crystal shutter 18, wherein if the indicated information is observed with the liquid crystal shutter 18 set in a transparent state, a person can know the contents of the parcel before unlocking the box 2 so that he/she can determine how to cope with it with respect to its reception.
